In early 2012, CREBUS Pty Ltd commissioned Umoya Software to develop a prototype application to assist them in identifying, signing up and mentoring emerging farmers who required loans from financial institutions.
This product has its foundation in the Umoya Framework and fully utilises the features, albeit after customisation, of the uniti system. The application, in the hands of CREBUS, captures all the details of those who want to approach the bank for a loan. All the applicant’s personal details and scanned copies of the documents required are all loaded directly into the system. From then on the system tracks the progress through the various process stages, until the loan is granted and the farmer continues to be mentored.
Suppliers, agents and mentors all have access to the system in order to interact with, and support, the emerging farmer.
